Hôtel De La Plage

We were surprised at how easy it was to get to by public transport. Very short and very pleasant walk from bus stop. Although we arrived very early we were able to check in and received a warm welcome to our lake view room. Literally a stone's throw away from the lake. Had a wonderful meal. In a wonderful restaurant with wonderful staff. Slept very well in a comfortable room and enjoyed the shower. Lots of room. The breakfast was amazing. Great atmosphere and very very relaxing.

Good hospitality and smile of the owner, its family and all the staff. Having a good restaurant along a lakeside (with a great view of the Lake and Lavaux, Siwss side) with very fine cusine and wines. Rooms are very simple, but clean and well-prepared for long stayers which is also very useful and practical for one-night stayer. View from the room was very good and the environement was very silent for the mountain side rooms.　N&M@Karuizawa

The hotel is rare example of non-standard, historic hotel with charisma. Huge difference comparing to standardized, similar to each other modern hotel networks. It is placed directly on bench of Lac Leman, near a big park, but easily accessible by car. Parking is included. Breakfast is good enough for its value (13 euro).

Beautiful and quiet location. Probably worth paying extra for a lake view. The restaurant is over priced but ingredients are local.

The property was ideally situated for our travel plans and was a good price for the area. Evening meal and breakfast were good and plentiful. There was more than enough off road parking.
